Wastewater Process Engineers

Zhejiang HighNew Environmental Technology Co. Ltd. (or HighNew), located in the Zhejiang High Level Overseas Talents Innovation Park, is a national high tech company engaged in R&D, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and services. It was set up in 2011 as a government proved key project and has received substantial government research funding. HighNew has more than 7000 square meter R&D and office space, and has been certified with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18001. World class technologies have been used for solvent and wastewater purification and reuse, particularly for the oil/gas and municipal wastewater sector.

HighNew supplies technologies and products for the energy saving and reuse of important chemicals and water, such as HighNew Amine Total Solution (HATS) and HighNew Overall Wastewater Solution (HOWS). Also supplied are technologies and equipment for Sulfolane purification, water demineralization, condensate recycling etc. HighNew works in partnership with Zhejiang University, China University of Petroleum in many R&D programs. They also provide teaching (as adjunct professor), scholarship to these universities.

We are now looking for 2 senior wastewater engineers with solid educational background and rich experiences from the industry. These positions are to be based in Hangzhou, China. Minimum of 9 months per year in China is expected. Engineers with Chinese origin and non-Chinese origins are invited. HighNew will provide excellent compensation packages, including but not limited to stock options etc. Our compensation package will be competitive with or better than Canadian standard. Details are open to negotiation.

If you are a talent hunting organization, we will discuss a reasonable contract separately. 

Basic requirement:

1. M.Sc. or Ph.D.
2. Familiar with GPS-X or Biowin softwares
3. Experiences in upgrading of municipal wastewater plants, especially TN and TP removal. Experiences in controlling TN under 7 is an advantage.
4. Experiences in capacity expansion for municipal wastewater plants
