yes we do sell product called Air to water as a package just plug on and get water from air after proper air filter and media filter to remove the impurities from air test product , model starts from 50 liters per days to 1000 liters per day according to customer requirement. I am from Bangalore India. For any more details please mail us to matrikamarketing@gmail.com, contact ph 9844982951 we will mail you the required details. Thanks

Fog harvesting is practised in the Himalayas.

don't forget to preserve the water, by using the correct disinfectant.

Hello,Good question. There are several methods to recover vapor water
*In nature of water cycle all evaperated water will be condensed at hieght
when pressure dros
*Dehumidification method by lower temperature coil in A.C system
*Vaccume evaperation method
*Dry chemical added in clouds to change the pressure and phase of vapor etc

Please the RcoloBlue EB30ME has many advantages likes :-
Advantages:
- The device is quite hygienic and as per the detailed manual, it produces excellent water quality.
- It produces 33 liters per day at a humidity level of 90% but also can give around 18 liters (same size of UNICEF used Safia water container) at 60% humidity level at 28 degree centigrade
- Computerized which indicates high control and sensitivity to the external conditions
Disadvantage:
- Low filtration rate: if we assume 60% humid rate at our current temperature of 35 degree, we can expect 18 liters per day which is enough for two persons per day as per the minimum emergency standards of 7.5 per person per day.
- If you see the below humidity rate the average humidity is 29% which is equal to 7.5 liters per day, while the maximum is 49% (15 liters/day) and minimum is 16% (3.5 liters/day) at 28 degree centigrade . i.e. even these amount will be lower because of the higher temperature.

Dear Mr Skoulikidis:
Fog harvesters http://aguadeniebla.com/captadores-nrp-3-0 up to more than 1.000 litres per day (depending on atmosferic conditions).

Dear Eduardo,
thank you for your response. Unfortunately I can't read Spanish.

I will try to translate it when I find some time. Basically the device is a fog harvester that works fine when there is enough fog in the environment. I has been developed in the Canary Islands.

India has a potable plant to harvest atmospheric moisture set up at Mitch region of Gujarat state,in a water stressed village kothara, involving IIM,Ahmedabad and Dhirubani Ambani Institute of Information and communication technologies.
Capacity to process 500 liters per day.

Dear Suresh,
thank you for your answer. Do you have any technical details for the plant?

There are dozens of commercial products. They are basically refrigerated dehumidication. It is very expensive per liter, like running your refrigerator with the door open. The condensed water must be treated/disinfected before it is drinkable. Air is dirty.

Dear Joseph,
thank you for your response. Air is dirty indeed. I'm basically interested for cheep non-refrigerated based solutions.

Very stimulating to hear so many people have heard of this ancient technology still being used by 3rd world countries. Currently one method that is making its way into Green construction is geothermal heat exchange units Hot moist air is pulled down a couple hundred feet to the cooling chamber. water is deposited in a tank with a small shallow well pump to bring it up to an elevated tank for residential use.
My favorite method for extreme survival skills was from the 1963 ? Jimmy Stewart movie, "Flight of the Phoenix". 4 stakes, 20 x 20 shrink wrap, and one small stone in the center. (They were in the Sahara desert plane crashed) morning due and hottest part of the day small amount of moisture rose up, is collected on the plastic wrap, condenses, goes to the central point of the stone, canteen was used as a collector. They survived for weeks. I tried it. It works.

Dear Guy,
I like your story. It is our duty to track economically efficient technologies for water harvesting, especially in our times where water resources are getting less.

Hi Nikos; I am pleased you enjoyed my story. I can appreciate the research you have done in many areas. I have been doing research since 1994. My mentor Dr Carl Oppenheimer had discovered a new species of microbe in the 1940's. He called them Archaea. You have similar background experience. Dr O had many PhD's. His main one was marine biology, microbiology, chemistry, archeology and a few more. He passed away in 2007. Now I am continuing his work and have prepared to clean up after the upcoming event. The cutting edge is called Bioremediation. There is nothing it can not clean. I very much like your comment on responsibility and low cost. That is my specialty. I design systems and build a sustainable feature that empowers people to never needing to seek UN advice or financing. I have sent you a contact request. Difficult to find persons with multiple similar interests. I currently have no peers in my field. That's OK. they didn't like Dr O either. He was always right. looking forward to speaking with you. In case : skype is guy_mcgowen. Best regards. guy

Wow Mannie Levin, that is a very useful and comprehensive report. Thank you. I know that in Peru it has been practiced for a number of decades providing water for some coastal villages.

Hi Palash
ok but tell your friend, if the water they harvest is distilled?or does it contain minerals?

Condensation from air handlers is a great source for irrigation and cooling towers. .2-.6 gallons per hour per tone can be harvested. Technically distilled water, but should be filtered unless directly injected into cooling towers. Cooling tower treatment should clean water. So much water can be produced.

In Peru, there is a fascinating application that does this: billboards. A billboard condenses the vapor, and filters at the bottom clean it. Passers-by can fill their water bottles from a tap. If I remember correctly, it was the engineering department of a Peruvian university that designed it as a project.

There is the vapour harvesting in Yemen: http://www.undp.org/content/undp/en/home/ourwork/ourstories/harvesting-fog-in-western-yemen.html
There is a French solution of using windmills: https://www.fastcompany.com/1679656/a-wind-turbine-turns-dry-desert-air-into-precious-drinkable-water
There are many other things, I assume.
I was always wondered that a windmill replacing the compressor motor of a refridgerator/heat pump would create enough cooling for water harvest. The same applies for a big collector lens focused on the heating point of a vapor absorption cooler. Both of these might create something cold in a renewable way, inducing condensation.

Vacuum Evaporate has been used for Molassess Waste water for decreasing the Volume so we will get high conc of Molasses with pure condensed water. This process is base on Pressure, Temp, cap...all parameter need to moniteting online by program and skillful staff. But I do not khow about some type of waste which might be used for purity by condensate. Sharing from Thailand..

Similar issues exist with processing tomatoes - if they have too much water in them to be turned into tomato paste or ketchup, the excess water is boiled off. Many processors are looking at ways to recover this water (as well as manage the water level in the tomatoes more accurately through better irrigation).
