  1. Didn’t you mean 3600 m3/day?

  2. First, if you need to treat a lot of water, you can use multiple RO systems in parallel. Look at  online catalogs from various manufacturers to find out what units are being offered, and combine several as required to achieve your required flow. It is always advisable to have divide the flow into parallel systems, so you can take one out of service for maintenance or repair and retain part of the total capacity. Also, are you certain about the 3,600 m3/hour? This is a HUGE amount of water (23 MGD in US units), about the amount that  would be consumed by 180,000 people in the USA, and much more in developing countries. Double check your numbers.

  3. Try 24" to 32" pipe

  4. Dear Hasan:

Hi. If you want 3600 m3/hr inlet water then you will need a lake per day to inject to the RO system. I suggest you check your need factors first. RO is simple but not the only way. I am anxious about the brine management of the RO system. Please be careful with the method you choose. I hope it is just a educational issue to be solved.

      1. I don't think so but you can use multiple streams, 3 RO systems 1200 m3/hr each. please note that you have to design your RO with two pumps. because RO pumps cant work continuesly. So each stream should have 2 pumps which switch each 6 or 12 hrs periodicaly.

        Good luck.
