Membrane can be stored in dry condition, temperature less than 24C for 2 years from date of manufacture. Wet condition is not advisable. Its advisable to change the membrane for 15 to 18 month based on daily operation out flow via water parameters.
Membranes are readily available for purchase, henceforth stock is not required. . its advisable not to store more than 2 years in dry condition

generally membranes can be stored below 25 C for 2-3 years without any change in performance. better always buy 10-15 % spares every year .

Hello Sunil, it depends of if they are dry or wet shipped. If dry, refer to manufacturer, but in my opinion 2-4 years. if wet (and tested)they are shipped in SBS solution 2%, shelf life - again depends on manufacturer recommandation- 1-2 years.

Surely the Manufacturers of the Membrane must specify the obsolescence period of their product. This is an issue of Manufacture quality control and assurance and cannot be left to chance!

Dear Sunil, normally the shelf life of an RO in the original package is minimum 1-2 years for our membranes (and it should be the same for the other players as well). I can bring you in contact with our Indian Sales Leader who can give you more insights
