Do you have any information about present situation of water fluoridation in different water treatment plants? Is this method still applicable? I was wondering what chemical is usual to be injected to water for this purpose. Your kind comments would be appreciated.

  1. the most used fluoridation chemical is hydrofluosilicic acid, a waste product of phosphate fertilizer manufacturing.  Also sodium fluoride.  The CDC keeps track of fluoridation chemicals.  Some areas use sodium fluoride purchased from China
