I am very much interested in knowing about desalination of sea water. Can some one suggest me some good literature for that? (very simple which a non technical person like me should be able to understand.)

Dear Maruf you can join the DESALINATION group and surf the group library. There are some real good document posted by the group manager Nikolay and some other members. You should read the "Operation, Maintenance and Trouble shooting of Desalination Plant" document from the library, which give a simple over view of desalination technology. https://water.tallyfox.com/groups/desalination
