Oil and grease separation unit with settling chamber would be good to reach some discharge standards to the municipal sewage network system, but this would be enough ? I assume that an advance treatment unit to remove the detergents would be better and a storage unit shall be installed to reuse the treated effluent for the same purpose (auto washing), I believe this will increase the cost of the unit however this will result in lower water bills and more sustainable

Auto wash contains oil & grease, dust & dirt & detergents. The best option will be
Oil & Grease Chamber -> Gravity Settling Tank -> Zero energy Natural Treatment Process.

Hello Sanjav, back in the 90s our Company used to sell compact physical-chemical units to treat Auto Wash effluents. Later I discovered the difference between Tunnel Washes , Self Serve Car washes and their relevant effluents (and treatments).

Pre-Treatment is the best method of that water, before discharged into the Municipal system or river.
