Unfortunately, Matt and Gary suggest "there is no silver bullet," meaning a solution. Providing wells and a connection for people is great, but it will not solve the problem. The world is running out of fresh water - that's the problem. Until we redefine agriculture (consuming 70% of fresh water) the problem continues. It's great for people to help provide access to water and water treatment, but until we change agriculture, we're still going to run out of water.

Hey Andrew...have you heard of film farming? It's supposed to save 90% of water compared to traditional farming. I actually wrote an article about it a couple of weeks ago. You can check it out here www.hydratelife.org/?p=360. Sounds like a great technology that we need to start using around the world ASAP.
