Sufficient Integrating Water Infrastructure in Urban Development

Published on by in Government

Today the City council is developing a new approach to urban planning so as to include different relevant stakeholders in the process at an early stage and coordinate their different needs. This is being done to avoid planning conflicts in further stages of urban development.

More often than not urban water and wastewater infrastructure is only considered in the final phase after the zoning plan was adopted. As a result, there is a reduced scope for new energy- effective and well-functioning solutions. It concerns:

Please share here your experience, some procedures  or different measurements  which help in your city  to achieve a more  coordinated process between urban planning and developing  of subsurface infrastructure.

Thanks.

  1. Hi,  The future of our utilities is in a state of flux.  The changes are the result of recognition that the evolution of our utility matrix has created a dysfunctional dynamic where normal policy has prevented efficiency improvements in integrated utility planning.  The Aquagen technology has embraced the convergent utility concept as an essential element in a disruptive innovation that also includes the natural algae photosynthetic process that has been responsible for maintaining the planetary atmospheric and ocean nutrient balance for billions of years.   We can help you community convert your wastewater crisis into a sustainable community solution and economic development opportunity while comprehensively upgrading your utility matrix to a sustainable scenario.  Our technology has been described as the worlds first planetary restoration system.

owing to recently climate change seriously lead to more frequently super heavy rain and flooding therefore need to build upstream and downstream reservoirs to prevent from deadly disaster .

first, have to scheduling water level.,from upstream reservoir flooding discharge to downstream reservoirs until it gets security water level.

second, quickly to close upstream reservoir water gate

finally, intensively to control and monitor upstream reservoir flooding into condition.

    1. Thanks a lot for the feedback. I was also wondering what return period do you use to design the upstreams and downstreams reservoirs? We design some reservoirs for 3 years return period to reduce the overflow from the combine sewerage to the river, and 30 years return period to remove flooding events. Do you have any requirements regarding when you should empty the reservoirs? How often you need to maintenance them? What is the more effective solution: to install underground reservoir or to implement sustainable drainage system? And the last but not least question: how are the stormwater projects being funded?
