  1. HI Armin,

Acid mine drainage is my specialty. I've been working in mine water treatment for 30 years.  www.envirobay.com

I've published dozens of papers on the subject (including my thesis), many of which are available here: http://www.envirobay.com/technical-content/

My email if you're interested: bernard.aube@envirobay.com Whatever your issues are, there are existing and innovative solutions that exist.

    Cheers,

    Bernard

  2. Armin - is the water you are using from the mine with chemicals in it, or is it from another source? What is the content of the water apart from the acidic result of the solvent? What do you wish to do with this water should it be possible to clean it?

  3. There is a lot of literature on the topic.  Depending upon where you reside, you can tap information of that locality/Country, please,.

  4. HI there.  A partner of mine and I would be able to assist.  We use treatment wetlands and depending on the exact nature of the water and the removal needs, they can also be used in conjunction with other forms of water treatment in order t achieve the desired result.

Please get in touch, and we can discuss.  If you let us know the water characteristics, and desired end results, this could allows us to look at options.

    Have a great day

  5. Like others have said below, it depends on the constituents you are trying to remove, the overall chemistry of the water, and the flow rates / process steps that fit best for the site.  Our Company, Headwater Technologies could provide Adsorbent materials that would be simple to implement, and passive in operation.  More active treatment options could also be pursued if desired.  Please contact me at epaulson@headwaterstech.com to discuss your application further.

  6. The effluent treatment process train will depend on the incoming feed water qualities and quantity and what the target effluent treatment qualities are.

if you can share that with me I can present you with some high level proposals as an initial engagement

AMD and mine water treatment is maturing rapidly in South Africa and we have a number of references, I believe we can offer you an appropriate solution

you can reach me on gary@dikubu.co.za

    regards

    Gary

  7. Treatment depends on what constituents you have on the process water and your discharge targets.  HDS or sulfide precipitation are possibilities.

  8. I can help. The microroganism I have works well at pH 1.0 and also accumulates copper. The technology I use is patented and uses a pipe.If interested it can be discussed.Thanks.

    1. Suhasiniji I would be interested in using your microorganism on Industrial Effluent Treatment Plants in India. There are so many chemical companies in Gujarat who are unable to treat their wastewater. We could use your microbes and our technology of microalgae to treat the wastewater. You can reach me at advenvtech@gmail.com. I'm based out of Mumbai.
