Environmental regulations depending upon the extent of development were in place in each country. However, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) also develops international environmental agreements; publishes and promotes environmental science and helps national governments achieve environmental targets. 'Climate Change' in this regard was considered as an International issue and therefore, UNFCCC constituted Conference of Parties (COP) to address issues related to Climate Change (Global Warming due to release of Green House Gasess (GHG) annually. "Kyoto Protocol' is one such mechanism that was introduced in one such meetings. Recent COP meeting - COP26 has mandated 'Carbon Neutral' to be abided by all signatories to this body.
